How in God's name do you get a [Edit: Language] human on the phone I've been trying to get that [Edit: Language] computer assistant to connect me for 1month and half

I have the same issue as this customer. I was on the phone for 45 minutes "following the prompts" and still could not get a human being. This is so unacceptable. Xfinity NEEDS to address this issue.

I have the same problem and also left a comment here regarding the same issue. It is soooooo incredibly frustrating. I was on the phone for 45 minutes just trying to get a human being on the phone. I eventually hung up. I'm considering changing internet providers simply because of this issue alone.

Traditionally calling in for support on our 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489) would connect you with a member of our phone support staff. I was curious and just tried to call the support phone number and was able to get someone on the phone quickly.

REALLY?!

Please tell me the steps you took to get to a live human, "quickly". Also, please give me your definition of "quickly". You have dozens and dozens of complaints about the same topic, yet you are the only one (an employee of the company) to say you  could get through "quickly". I call BS.

user_ys8szp I just tried from my wife's phone, it took me 48 seconds to reach a live human. One really cool tidbit, is since my wife's phone number is also associated with her mothers account as an account manager, our IVR immediately recognized and even greeted my wife as well. I am sorry you are having these hiccups reaching someone but rest assured, the phone system is working perfectly. Our team is also here attempting to help resolve any concerns you might have for us.
