How to Unsubscribe from Email

I posted this thread a year ago, and the emails stopped for a bit. It seems like I've been re-subscribed by xfinity for some reason. PLEASE fix your unsubscribe functionality. Super frustrating.

I'm trying to unsubscribe from email solicitation. The link above deals with sales calls, mail and door-to-door.

If anyone at all ever needs help with their services, please do feel free to reach out here! We can help you get on the do not mail or email list. Please keep in mind though, if you are a customer and we add you to the do not email list, you won't even get billing emails. If you would like, send me a DM with your name and address and I can help you with that. 

To send a direct message you may need to:

Click "Sign In"

Click the "direct message" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Is it not possible to unsubscribe just from your marketing emails? I would like to continue to receive important information about my bills and account changes. I don't want to receive email about promotions, marketing campaigns, rewards, deals etc.

Sorry about sending you the wrong link. This link covers how to manage all of your advertisement and solicitation preferences: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/manage-communication-and-advertising-settings.

 

If the email you received is marketing, it will have an "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom. Otherwise, it will say that it is a service-related email. Emails relating to Xfinity Rewards are considered service-related emails as they are informing you about a new feature already included with your service.

This does not work. I have used the above link and unsubscribed from all and I STILL get SERVICE RELATED EMAILS.

@XGuy1 I'm sorry that you have had trouble removing yourself for getting email marketing messages. Please visit our privacy center at https://comca.st/3AI7bnD if you scroll down you will see Communications from Xfinity. Just under that heading you will want to click on the (Set Email Marketing Preferences) link under Marketing and Special Offer Emails.
