How to transfer account ownership?

Hello! I recently moved out of an apartment with my roommate where I was the primary owner of the xfinity internet account. Since I am no longer living there, I have transferred primary rights to her already. It did mention when I transferred the rights over that I would still be partially responsible for the account. Is there any way to fully remove myself from the account? Thank you!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there, @user_166888! That is a great question! You are not responsible as soon as the account transfer is complete. We do recommend if you have/had an Xfinity ID the new account holder go in a remove you from the account, and that will completely disassociate you from the account completely. Please let us know if you have any further questions/concerns!

@XfinityAdrienne Hi there! Thank you for the response! I do have a follow-up question. Although I did already transfer primary rights to my roommate, she is unable to view billing and other things she should be able to with primary rights. Is it possible that the transfer could be delayed? Does it typically take a few days to process?

Great question @user_166888, it can take a couple of days for the transfer to finish processing and the account to be updated in our system.
