How to talk to a person over the phone?

So I had made an appointment for a tech to come to my house to possibly get a second router set up. I confirmed the appointment through text as well as through a person on the phone, who was nice and even gave credit because of our difficulties. The day of the appointment(today), no one showed up, even though I had cancelled plans to stay home and wait for them. I tried to call the customer support number multiple times today, and NOT ONCE did I get an actual person. I tried the chat as well, and it was just as useless. Finally, I got one person who said there was a technical difficulty and left the chat. Ultimately, it gave the impression that this company does not care and makes it as hard as possible to talk to an actual person so that the problem can be solved in less than 30 minutes, compared to cold calling the support number for over an hour.

This is not the experience we would like you to have, and we'd like to help make this right. Is your intention to swap devices? Technician visits are usually just reserved for service issues. We don't usually schedule them for equipment swaps. We could consider sending the equipment via mail. Or do you need assistance with the installation?
