How to talk to a human?
My IP address seems to have changed after a service outage, and I can’t no longer watch local channels because I’m showing in the wrong city.
how do I get to talk to a person? I’m having no luck explaining the issue to the prompts.

@user_3cyq19 Thanks for adding a post. The IP does change for residential service, only business accounts have static IP's. There may be something off a bit with the location for your profile, or the channel list for the area may have updated. Send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the message icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
