How to set up a second location to use the first location's internet plan
I am moving into a new apartment in Indiana which already has an Xfinity modem and router installed in the unit courtesy of said the building (I did not go out and buy them myself). My home is in Illinois and my parents have an Xfinity internet plan which we use for our wifi and internet needs. I've seen a couple different times that it IS possible to have two locations, each with modems, using the same internet plan. Additionally, a lot of it was referring to making sure they are under the same account, so clarification on whose account needs to be tied to where would be helpful. Lastly, I would like to know how exactly that works and how to set it up so that I will be able to have wifi and internet access in both locations. I know that's a lot of open ended questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
