how to report a telephone scam
Yesterday we received a telephone call supposedly from Comcast. He said we would lose TV service if he didn't update software on our box. Also said we would get a $25/mo. discount for two years. Then he said we would have to pay him $149 which would be reimbursed on our account. He knew our name, address and that we have two TVs. He left a call back number. Of course, we ignored him. What is particularly strange is that this has happened before, and possibly consequently shortly after we paid our bill on the Comcast site.
