how to report a real outage not detected

I have a real outage, no signal to the house, but your outage map shows no outage.  I am  99% sure it was a lightning strike last night on a pole near our house.  How do I get a repair crew out here to fix it?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@EG I still don't have a resolution.  As it turns out I had to go about 3 days without service.  On Tuesday, the day I had an appointment for someone to come to the house, a repair crew came out and fixed the issue on the pole.  I really wish I could register the outage without going through the useless automated phone support.

@user_4c6fb9 Thank you for reaching out about this connection issue and the possible lightning strike to the pole. I would like to check in to the status of getting someone out there. To get started, please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address.

To send a "Direct Message" message:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

We also have our awesome Xfinity hotspots that may help you connect while the work is being completed. Please be aware this may not work and be affected as well. This has worked for me the time I had a weather-related issue until everything was resolved in the area. To see how to connect please refer to Xfinity Hot Spots.
