How to get broken pedestal at street repaired?

The cable pedestal at our street appears to have been hit by a car and is now broken. Coinsidentally, we are having intermittant connectivity issues. (Timeouts and DNS resolution errors.) How can I get Comcast to come out and repair the pedistal and check the system?

I so hate using the chat with support feature.......:-(   What I call the Comcast disincentive to get help.

We started getting occasional outages which usually showed up as a timeout or problem with DNS resolution. This has gotten progressively worse in the past months. I have replaced the single splitter outside the house with two splitters, with the cable modem being supplied by the first splitter. I have removed the CATV cables from the splitter that were not beting used. I've checked the connections and it has not made any improvements. Looking at my modem (Netgear 7100 voice/data modem) It shows the following info.

At this point I am thinking that I need a tech to come to my house and check the system. What is the best way to do this? Also, does anyone see anything on the info that points to an issue?  The symptoms are that the failure usualy happends around 9:30am or around 10- midnight at night. Symptoms are timeouts and inability to resolve DNS names. I have tried using different DNS servers with no difference.

Thank you for any advice.

Hi @rubatoguy. We appreciate you for using the Xfinity Forum to report the damaged pedestal and the intermittent connectivity issues you've been having. I can understand how this could be an inconvenience and would be more than happy to help get a tech scheduled to make the necessary repairs to the pedestal and check the signals at your home. Can you send me a private message?
