How to get appointment with Home Security Service.

Having problems with my Home Security.  Had a appointment (for next week) and received call from a technician, who walked me through repairing, my appointment was cancelled by the technician.    Several hours later system was down again.  Called him back and he gave me a number to call and get another appointment which was a fax machine number.  Every number that I have tried is another virtual assistant.  I just want to have a technician come to the house and find out what is going on and make repairs.  Any suggestions?
