How to get a live person? Cable line down and exposed wire after Hurricane Milton. Can't get through to Xfinity to request a tech.
What's the trick for getting a live person? I just need to request a tech because the cable line is hanging 4 feet off the ground and the wire is exposed as a result of Hurricane Milton. I've tried calling, the website and Xfinity assistant. The Xfinity assistant app gives me a dropdown box but no options are there when I click on the down arrow so it won't proceed. I got through to one person but I'm not sure they were legit as they were discussing coffee and kept me on hold for 45 minutes. It shouldn't take 45 minutes just to request a service tech.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @user_beead7
Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:
1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon
2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)
4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
