How to get a live person at Xfinity

The Xfinity phone system keeps abandoning me after saying they are checking my account . How do I get a live person to help me?

I have been paying for internet and streaming Peacock but I cannot access Peacock on my tv any longer now that I dropped cable channels. My tv just shows internet apps at the bottom

of the screen like You Tube which works fine. The screen message says my system needs a Refresh and to call Xfinity to fix my system but when I call I am forced to use Virtual Assistant which just keeps dropping my live chats! I am beyond frustrated and not only want a prorated refund for lack of service but I want connection.
