How To connect to hotspot

I've been trying for days to talk to xfinity's horrible overshore customer service to find out how to get on a hotspot . I am so tired of the lack of training the lack of speaking clear English and the lack of consideration. This is positively ridiculous. There should be a 123 list of how to get on to a hotspot
