how to confirm new internet provisioning

Hi I updated my internet plan a while ago and its had been a pretty bumpy road to get my internet download close to what my plan advertised. Was reading online and because I have switched a new modem I may need a new provisioning.

I'd really like to get the speed I've been paying , please advise how to confirm/correct the provisioning and whether a bill credit can be initiated for the period of incorrect provisioning.

Thanks!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_q8yvmz Provisioning and the bootfile is certainly something we check first in these situations. We will need to look deeper into the account though to check what is going on with the speeds. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
