How to cancel the unnecessary mobile line without affecting 5-year internet price lock?

Sale in Xfinity store added a mobile line for me yesterday and claimed that I had to keep the line active for 6 months even it is free for the first year.  Can I cancel the unnecessary mobile line without affecting my 5-year Internet price lock now?

Greetings, user_3xll29! Thanks for posting on our XFINITY Community forum. If you do not wish to keep the Mobile Line, you can cancel the line without affecting your 5-year Internet promotion. Please note that once you deactivate the line, the promotional credits will stop, and any remaining balance on the device payment plan will still need to be paid.
