How to cancel cable line installation

My account shows that there is no service order on record  but subcontractors keep showing up to dig the lines up to my house and we have decided we want to cancel going forward with any installation. I keep calling the customer service number and they just say we don’t show any order for you. Then why do these people pulling equipment keep coming to my house to tell me they have it in their paperwork to dig new lines? I just want them to stop coming!

user_djq42p We may have to check the address in the system to see if a maintenance order was created, which is commonly done to have the network lines installed at an address. These types of work orders do not appear online to view as an installation appointment would, but we can check to see what we can see or what options we have to reach out to them. Since we will need your information to locate the system address, please send our team a direct message with your full name and address to get started.

To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
