How many appointments have to be made before a technician actually shows up

I received my equipment 5 days ago with one box broken and another will not connect. After many hours chatting with one person after another i was told that a technician would have to come out. Great, get them out here!  First appointment is cancelled by technician; made another appointment because no one can seem to give me an answer as to why it was cancelled....... Well after sitting and waiting for 5 hours i am told that the technician is not coming because he was not able to reach me and that is nothing but lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A technician never attempted to call me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  My wife told me when i mentioned getting cable again that she would not be dealing with the headache that comes with xfinity. This is the absolute worst company!

@user_2d0f5f  This is never the experience we'd want for you when coming back to us. Based on what you've relayed, it sounds like there's external work that needs to be submitted and completed before e we can get you fully up and running. If that is the case we do need to be communicating that effectively, and I do apologize if that hasn't been the case.

Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your name and address and I'll be happy to help address these concerns and provide as much relevant information as possible.
