How long to bury cable after replacement

The gas company cut through our Xfinity(Comcast) cable and Xfinity(Comcast) came replaced it and just left it on the ground since last month.

Frontier Fiber for internet just came into our neighborhood and I am looking to switching.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

 

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

Using that Direct Messaging for Xfinity Support was a bunch of bull. Just the same old run around.

Like I said Frontier Fiber is looking good and Comcast doesn't care about their customers.
