How long does it take to get a damage claim resolved?

A tech came to bury my neighbors cable. They came on our property, cut our underground fence and buried the cable on our property without permission. I immediately filed a claim with Xfinity. It has been over eight weeks and I need to know when this will be resolved as my dogs have now realized that the fence doesn’t work.

Hello @user_khkh0o, and thanks for reaching out with your damage claim concern. I would be happy to look into the claim for you, and see what is going on.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

The concern is not "Xfinity Compliments" related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
