I'm not exactly understanding why you have to go in. Get checked in stand there for 40 minutes. All to exchange a box that literally took. I don't know [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] two seconds. You have a counter where people are getting checked out. And you have nobody standing there instead, they take your name, tell you to sit down, browse around whatever you have to do. I suggest, maybe a bit, you know, somebody that's coming into. Exchange something you probably should have somebody that helps them right away instead of making them wait. Instead, you're trying to be like verizon and t mobile when you're a [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] television company

Interacting with Xfinity support or any section of customer service is a gauntlet of bots, misdirection and wrong answers. I've had 2 days of interrupted services (internet, phone and TV). Half hour of my time spent trying reconnect without success. 10 minutes in circles with 'chat' and eventually found a live agent number via Google. Would have been a pleasure if the number was accessible on my account page. I explained my issue and waited 20 minutes for an internal diagnostic check. The result was that the issues could not be fixed without a technician visit at which time my modem and possible cable boxes would be updated. Of course I would have preferred that this would occur asap and was provided with an appointment for two later, which is toady between 8 & 10 am. Well by 10:20 no word, no call and no tech. Having kept the number for direct live support I called and was told there was no appointment scheduled. How infuriating. The current 'support, [Edited: Inflammatory] person said the earliest was tomorrow, I agreed immediately but he must have been so used to being argumentative that he apologized that I wasn't ahppy, I responded by telling him I had already written the appointment down. I asked that i receive an email or text confirming the appointment. A minute later I received a text for an appointment next week. He was still on the phone when I asked where is tomorrows apt. "So sorry, someone else must have taken it" [Edited: Language]. I've been with Comcast for 32 years. As of this morning I am looking for an alternative.
