How do I submit a damage claim?

Hello... comcast ground wire was not connected over the course of the last year or more... a tech came out Monday finally and found the ground wire detached.  We've had several electrical pieces of equipment fried in three or more storms over the last year.  The supervisor said to call Comcast to submit a claim, but the customer service rep really does not know/understand what I am trying to accomplish.

How can I submit a damage claim or personal property damage claim?

  •    Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  •    The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  •    - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  •    - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  •    Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  •    Press Enter to send it
