How do I request a technician appointment?

My internet line that was buried was sliced into two pieces.  I managed to use electrical tape and “repair it” temporarily.  This won’t last.  I imagine the first rain and it will be ruined.  I really need someone to come to my house and fix it.  I tried the online chat, but the computer doesn’t understand that just because I currently have internet, doesn’t mean there isn’t an issue.  I can’t seem to get ahold of any anyone when I call.  What do I do?

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

In order to further assist with scheduling an appointment for you, please send us a direct message with your first/last name and full address by clicking the "direct message" icon in the upper right page of our forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle Xfinity Support to send us a direct message. The Xfinity Assistant and the Xfinity app can also help you troubleshoot and schedule technician appointments whenever needed. Start by asking the Xfinity Assistant for help.
