How do I empty my xfinity Comcast email address book? I imported csv file now I have over 450 duplicates

How do i empty my xfinity/Comcast email address book?

I imported a .csv file now I have over 450 duplicates.

I would like to start from scratch via importing my google contacts address book. UNLESS I can sync with that account???

@user_sk4e60 Thank you for your post. At this time, any unwanted contacts need to be deleted one by one. You can see the instructions to delete a contact from your address book at this link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/delete-contact-universal-address-book

@XfinityJoe​ Thanks Joe for the quick reply, but .... You have got to be kidding me. With over 450 duplicates that means deleting over 900 contacts. Come on Xfinity there has to be a better way! Can address book merge duplicates like google and outlook?

You still have the .csv file.  Delete all of the address book entries.  You can do this by clicking on the square right under New Contact.  Granted, this is going to be time consuming, but not nearly as much as having to go through and delete the duplicate addresses.  You're going to be deleting page by page, and I don't know how many are on a page because I don't use my comcast.net email for anything so I don't have a lot of addresses [I also use Thunderbird for my email].  Once you have all the the entries deleted import your .csv file again.

Thanks User sk4e60, when checking multiple boxes in the manor you stated above "Square under New Contact" the Delete grays out and only lets me delete "One at a Time"
