How do I downgrade to internet only plan

Can anyone please help me see what options are available to downgrade my plan to internet only? In the 'change plan' page, it says that there aren't any offers for the internet only plan. We do not need TV or voice service any more and our 24 months contract for a bundle package ended recently. We would love your help to find the right plan, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, can someone please explain why Xfinity's website offers an easy, convenient way to upgrade a plan, but seemingly no easy way to downgrade a plan?  This is incredibly frustrating, and frankly shady.  Is it seriously the case that upgrading costs can be viewed (and possibly completed) over the internet, whereas downgrading is (purposely?) made more difficult and must be initiated by phone?  Customers will find a away to downgrade anyway, but they will be much more disgruntled if you make the process harder.

Hello @user_ca816f, thank you for reaching out to us with your account change concerns. When looking at adding/removing services, it's a lot easier to add codes to an account than it is to remove them. So when you are looking online at the offers and upgrades that are available, these can easily be applied to your services. When looking at removing codes, if this isn't done properly it can lead to service and billing issues. To avoid this from happening we need our agents to accurately remove and repackage accounts to ensure there are no issues down the line. 

 

If you would like assistance with downgrading your plan, we are here to help! To get started, please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page. 

 

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us: 

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon (upper right corner of this page)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send your message

DELETE FROM comcast_table_full_of_stuff WHERE service=TV;
you're absolutely a criminal.
