Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I have a new account that appeared to be eligible for a free wifi pod, but when I tried to claim it says I am not eligible. I believe it was looking at my old site.

What can I do to get the free pod?

jim_c13 You might try accessing the Xfiniy app, under WiFi to see if you have the option to claim the WiFi Boost Pod.

Good morning @user_ylwv8w. Was the email you received the results of your home assessment? Or was it something different?

On the app, there is an informative piece making customer aware of the possibility of a free WiFi Boost Pod. It is not guaranteed, however. It is determined by a whole home evaluation of your WiFi. Here is some additional information about the service. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/wifi-boost-guarantee.
