How do I access streaming apps on my TV without xfinity internet but with another ISP

I recently cancelled my xfinity internet but retained the TV/cable portion of my service.  Now, when I go to watch Netflix or another streaming app on my TV, I get an error that xfinity internet is required to access the app. I do have internet access, just not through xfinity.  How do I make this work again?  Do I need a new xfinity cable box, do I need to utilize an alternative like FireTV, remain in my TV's native interface, or am I missing something?

Hello user_4u626c! Thanks for reaching out to us for help with accessing streaming app on your TV. I'm sorry that you are having trouble with accessing the apps since making the account change. I love being able to access my streaming options from my cable box, it's very easy to navigate. I want to make sure you can still access all the content you love as well. Are you trying to access the streaming apps through the cable box? If so, that may be the issue. Xfinity internet is a requirement to access online apps through our Xfinity devices

That is unfortunate.  What are my options then?  Do I have to use an Amazon Fire stick or the native TV menu?

user_4u626c You are using a smart TV and when trying to log in to Netflix using the Netflix app. It states you need our internet? Does that only happen on your TV?
