How can I talk to a real person from my own phone about my parents account?

Do you know that you can give an old person a heart attack just by trying to talk to a person at Comcast? 😭 I frequently have to try to talk to Comcast people, for elderly friends and relatives. My phone number is linked to my account which I am not trying to access. Many elderly people still have landline phones that you cannot send a link to. Elderly people and myself are not happy with a chat conversation with someone. Comcast has the highest bill out of any utility company. One might think that you can afford to pay actual people to speak to customers on the phone. My question is what is the easiest way to talk to a customer service representative?

Hello, @user_jm6u2s how are you? Thanks for being a valued customer and for helping out with your friends and family’s accounts! When calling 1-800-Xfinity from your phone number listed on the account, the automated system will great you by name. Then it will say, "I see the street number listed on the account is (1234 example) are you calling about this account?" From here say no, and then you can enter the zip code about the account you're calling about. Just follow the prompts from here 👍

At Xfinity, we want to be here to help in as many ways as possible and to make getting support easy. You can also use the Xfinity Assistant to set up a call back. You can access that tool using the link below or use the chat icon in the Xfinity app. I hope this can help 😀

Note, too, that you must be listed on your parent's account as a manager in order to talk to Customer Service.
