How can I get exterior wires moved to new utility pole

I had a new utility pole placed directly out front of my house with the old pole remaining about 5 feet away. I've been told that the old pole will remain until Comcast moves the utility box to the new pole.

How can I request for this to be moved? The sidewalks in my area are very small and with two utility poles placed right next to each other it is a big inconvenience for not only me but other in the community who ride bikes, push strollers, etc.
