How can I contact the construction department at comcast?

We have been trying for over a month to get comcast at our new construction home. Our neighbor, less than 200 ft away from us has it and the hook up is on our land, however we still do not show in their system as a serviceable address. The customer service rep I spoke with today said the construction and engineering department has to release the address before we can get set up. Not sure what they’re waiting on but the run around we have been getting is ridiculous. I have never experienced such incompetence. My husband and I both work from home so this has been a massive inconvenience to day the least. Any help is appreciated.

Hello @user_9d3464! Congratulations on your new home! We appreciate you for posting to the Xfinity Community Forum to get help with getting service. As someone who works from home, I understand how important it is to get this figured out. I'd be happy to help by submitting a serviceability request to see what will be required to get service at your home. Please send a direct message with your name and the address where you would like to have service installed to "Xfinity Support" by clicking on the "Direct Messaging" chat icon in the top right corner of the page, then click on the pen and pad icon and enter "Xfinity Support" in the "To" section of the chat.

@XfinityChe

Official xfinifty  Employee,

I am in the same boat as @user_9d3464 I built a house next door (literally) to where I was living. old address [Edited: "Personal Information"]. The customer service area of Xfinity is the worst I have ever seen! I have tried for many months to get service. Even flagged down a service tech in the neighborhood. He came to my house and said that's easy, only 2 light poles from one dwelling to the other. That was more than 6 months ago. I have literally begged to have someone contact me. Engineering or new construction must have no one doing anything for the entire united states. They told me they have emailed him/her & called and I have yet to her from anyone. I asked for the contact info my self but that is strictly taboo. I thought I got a break and someone came to my new house to measure and see if my home was "serviceable." They gave me reference number to use when I call in. I hate to call because I typically don't have hours to kill on hold waiting to buy your service. That was 3-4 months ago and they told me they would respond for service in 2- 3 weeks. I have been paying the other service to keep my account active. Finally I gave up and yesterday I called to have my service shut off. I wait on hold 23 minutes to finally get someone. I asked about the reference number,  she had no clue what I was talking about. I said you know what just cut my service off. She transfers me. I spent another 28 minutes on hold. By the time my call was answered I was so [Edited: "Language"] mad I apologized to the agent to preface my rant. I told how displeased I was at the process and the company. I have been to the local retail office and they don't know [Edited: "Language"] but to take payments and sell equipment. It took me another ten minutes to say "TURN MY SERVICE OFF!!" she would ask effective what day? I would say turn it off. Are you moving? Turn it off!! I said if you wont bring the service to my new house turn the [Edited: "Language"] off!! I firmly believe if there was any competitive service out there you would all be out of work. It has been almost one year I have been asking. While in construction I began asking about service. All effort has been by me the customer not one ounce by the company. So if you think you have a magic wand and ability to reach the right person I am all ears, Please count me in? Otherwise please don't lead us consumers on that your messages to engineering will have any effect. Been there done that.
