How can I cancel Peacock Premium if I no longer have a Flex box

I briefly had a Flex box, and while I had it I signed up for Peacock Premium. I would like to cancel that subscription, so that I can sign up for a different service from Peacock. Peacock says that my account can only be managed via Xfinity, their hands are tied. The instructions on Xfinity say that in order to cancel my subscription I need to "Go to Settings on your Xfinity X1 TV Box or Xfinity Flex streaming TV Box." I do not have (or want) either box. How can I cancel this unwanted subscription?

I managed to get a support rep in a chat session a few days ago. They said they would file a support ticket and that I would hear back within 24 hours, but I heard nothing (I didn't even get an email with a ticket number).

For the benefit of anyone else who runs into this: Xfinity insisted there was nothing they could do (because I had no subscription through Xfinity) and Peacock insisted there was nothing they could do because my subscription was through Xfinity. The only solution I was able to find was to create a new Peacock account using a different email address, and to ask Peacock to remove all my data. Once they've removed all my data from the old account, I should be able to change the email address on the new one.

The concern is not "Community Knowledge Base" related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @dk_752090, and thank you for reaching out for help with cancelling your Peacock subscription with us. I would be happy to assist you with getting it removed for you.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
