Hello @user_51173k, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum, and we would be happy to help. I will need to pull up your account to investigate this further. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message. First the only way you can is to call them they have made it impossible through the website which is wild considering I signed up for it within minutes. When you talk to them just say your moving from your residence and staying with family. This is the only response they have no defence for. If you say anything other than that be prepared to be on the phone for at least 30mins and having to ask multiple times to cancel your service. I recently cancelled because I was paying $93/month for a 400mb cable connection never getting those speeds and the only time the connection didn't drop out consistently was between midnight and 6am. I went with another ISP on fiber optic 1gb up/down for $45/month and the connection is impeccable. I can't blame the service rep for doing there job, but I find it incredibly rude have to explicitly ask 4 times to cancel my service before it actually happens. I even owned my own modem, not in a contract and disconnected my modem on the actual date I wanted it disconnected proving I wasn't using data. Because I couldn't cancel on the website it ended up taking an extra 2 weeks before I had the time to be able to be on the phone that long bc of my job, which this is exactly what they go for. Blows my mind you can start Xfinity service and have an active connection at your house if you have your own modem within 5 minutes but it takes me 45min phone call and having the service 2 weeks longer than I wanted it to be able to cancel!!
