Houston Outage Credit (Received)

TL,DR: Ask for a partial refund for the days you are without service.
I lost internet service since July 8th and like many of you, despite the power is restored(and even rather in a fast manner), internet remained down for 11 days straight. Each day of no communication, no actual update, and no accurate ETA is frustrating, and I was ready to move to ATT with their fiber plan. I have received my internet back as of July 19th today, around 4pm. First thing I did was calling the xfinity.
So I explained that I lost internet service for 11 days, and am straight asking for a credit or I'm moving with a different provider(which they'll even pay the early termination fee). The representative was helpful and checked my outage status, and granted me partial refund of days I lost, 29$ for 11 days of my service.
I'm not mad or disappointed at any representative, they are just doing their work. I'm extremely not happy with xfinity's service when they have such outage, whether it's due to weather or not. The way they handle this is a new low.
