Hotspot

Hello, 

I am tryin to connect my laptop to a hotspot but it says NO INTERNET,OPEN.

I tried restarting my pc, and all that but it won’t connect. Can you guys help me with that please ?

Hello, Abe3022! Thanks for posting on our community forums for assistance with the Hotspot connection. I'm sorry to hear it says it has no connection at this time. Let's figure out what is going on. To confirm, Are you using the Xfinity Wi-Fi Hotspots app to access the hotspot? What's the name of the hotspot network "xfinitywifi" or "XFINITY"? Is it asking you to log in when you try to access a web page?

Hi, 

No, I’m not using any app. It’s from my laptop and the name is xfinitywifi .
It does not give me an option to log in. When I open a webpage and I try to go to xfinity.com it basically says “This site can’t be reached”

Thanks for sharing that information. Did you try forgetting the network and reconnecting to it already? I'm hoping that will refresh the signal and allow you to connect.

Thanks for clarifying. Have you tried forgetting the network and connecting to it again? Or using a different device (Smartphone or tablet) to see if you get the same error? How close are you to the hotspot location?

Yes, I have done that. 
I do not get the same problem with my phone, and I’m pretty close to the hotspot location.  And when I use the hotspot from my phone my laptop it connects with no problem, but it won’t connect with xfinitywifi hotspot.
