Hotspot Login Page not Working

Hi! I’ve been using the hotspot at my boyfriend’s place for over a year (ans he uses the NOW service) and it recently started not working. The “xfinitywifi” still shows up in the Wi-Fi settings of my phone, but the pop up to log in doesn’t load. I’m confused because when I search nearby hotspots online it doesn’t show up, but the name is still there in Wi-Fi. Help please!

Good afternoon @user_k8lpbw, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums regarding your hotspot concerns—we’re happy to help.

To start with some basic troubleshooting, have you tried toggling Wi‑Fi off and back on, restarting your device, or “forgetting” the xfinitywifi network and then reconnecting?

Hi yes. I have tried all of that. The hotspot isn’t working on my boyfriends phone either.

Thank you for confirming that you tried those steps @user_k8lpbw, we appreciate it. Have you had a chance to check whether there are any service interruptions affecting your area? You can view current outages and service status by visiting our Online Status Center here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/statusmap.

It says there are no service outages in the area.

user_k8lpbw Most likely, the hotspot has been turned off. This can happen if the hotspot was provided by a customer in the area, and they disabled it through the Xfinity App. You mentioned the hotspot is no longer showing on our hotspot map, correct? If you didn't forget the "xfinitywifi" network, it will still show under your network names. Did you try forgetting the network and reconnecting to it to see if the hotspot appears?

When I forget it, it pops back up after a few moments as an option to connect to. Furthermore, when my boyfriend moved in, the apartment said that they do xfinity Wi-Fi and that he could do NOW instead of installing one himself
