Hotspot access when home WiFi is down

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing service issues, and I'd love to help however I can! Since our hotspots use a network consisting of connected gateways, you may not see an available hotspot at your location if the area is being affected by a known issue or interruption. Here's where you can Find Xfinity WiFi Hotspots near you. Then I always recommend utilizing the Xfinity App and/or visiting our Status Center to confirm if there's an ongoing interruption in your area. You may need to move to an unaffected area and take advantage of a public WiFi hotspot location if that is the case. Otherwise, the app and status center will provide up-to-date alerts as they become available. I hope this helps!
