Horrible

Recently moved to Oak Ridge TN from Ohio.  I had Spectrum WiFi there but it isn’t available in Oak Ridge.  So, I called Xfinity.   The technician came to the house to install.  When he drilled a hole thru the floor, he cut a wire to one of my kitchen outlets.   He apologized and said he would put in a damage claim.

fast forward three days.   I get a call from Anthony at Xfinity.  I assumed it was about the cut wire, but it wasn’t.  He was calling to verify my identity.   I provided all the necessary information, he thanked me for my time and said my identity was verified and we hung up.  One minute later, our WiFi turned off off.   I called Xfinity and they said that Anthony turned off our service but they didn’t know why!   So, was then turned back on after a 30 minute phone call.

Fast forward to today….i call them to check on the damage claim for the cut electrical wire.  They knew nothing about it as the installation tech never did out in a damage ticket for me.  He lied.   They then proceeded to tell me

that I have to fix it and send them the receipt for review.   This is by far the worst customer service ever

user_z28fng Hello there! We appreciate you taking the time to share your recent experience with us over our Xfinity Forums. I can see how this would be a frustrating experience, especially with trying to move. I'd be happy to take a look into your account for the damage ticket, and get you a status update or in the right direction for getting it resolved. To begin, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
