Horrible Customer Service without cable 5+ days and counting
How do you get in contact with someone that is willing and equipped to help? We were notified that cable was out in our area on 8/5 that same day we were notified that it was back up. However, 2 of our tvs did not come back up. That’s where the service nightmare begins. We’ve been a loyal customer for 30 years and the run around we’ve received daily since 8/5 has severely diminished how we think about Xfinity and if it’s worth staying. I’ve asked “supervisors” to listen to the calls so they could hear the misinformation and run around. We finally had a technician out today who said he called for a truck to look at the outside line
(because it’s not inside) and we’d have cable by the end of the day. Didn’t happen. Now I’ve been on the phone again for an hour because they are saying it’s the inside (not outside like technician said) and another technician isn’t available until next Tuesday which is 8 days from now. So that would make it a full two weeks of no cable and hours of wasted time on the phone. How does a company get away either this? Do we go to the FCC? BBB? An attorney?
