Horrible business practice

I went to watch a hockey game (which was a huge game because Ovechkin was shooting for a record) on Friday night on the NHL network (which I pay extra for) and the game was blacked out- no notice, it was listed in the guide, etc. This has really put me over the top- I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years and this is ridiculous.

Not only this situation but your in ability to add the CHSN channel to your lineup!! If you can't pull it together, I will find a better option!

user_ws5ko5, This is not the experience we want for our customers. Here is what I found on blackout dates: For NHL games, no games on NBC are subject to blackouts, while some games on NBCSN and NHL Network may be blacked out if aired on local stations or regional networks. If CHSN is a local station, it could potentially blackout certain games that are also broadcast nationally. To find specific blackout information, checking local listings or the NHL's official resources is recommended. 
If a game has been blackedout, it is the decision of the network. It is not something that we have control over. I am truly sorry for your experience, and hope that this information has helped.
