Home Security Scam

I would like my money back for the home security equipment I PURCHASED (not rented). Being very dissatisfied with the service I have received with this company I switched to At&t for my internet. When I went to the store to return the rented equipment, I was informed that I would no longer be able to use MY security equipment since I am not longer a customer. If it becomes useless when you lose me as a customer it should be rented like the other equipment. I want my money back for this scam. How can we make that happen?

user_5flwz5 There isn't a way to refund the equipment for the system unless within the 30 day window. At that point it is your equipment to keep, or sell if you like. We wouldn't be able to refund the purchase if past the 30 day window.

 Which makes zero sense and why I call it a [Edited: "Inflammatory"]. Why in the world would I need equipment I can't use? Also, why would I sell the equipment to someone else? I don't work for Xfinity and I will not be creating anymore customers for you to[Edited: "Inflammatory"] out of more money.
