Home classified as business address

When I moved into my house, I was not given the option for residential internet; my address was classified as a business address, according to Xfinity. I tried to get it changed, but no one could help me. I'm still overpaying for business internet and TV I didn't want. I need help getting it changed.

Hi, @khloerian! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to XFINITY for help with making the switch from Residential to Business class service. If you do not have a small business, I can understand wanting to make the change. However, there are many benefits to having business services. One of the benefits is our Connection Pro service! This product helps you stay connected even if your power or internet service goes out with automatic 4GLTE wireless backup and up to 8 hours of backup battery power! Another option is the ability to use a static IP. We can help. To get started, please send us a direct message with your first/last name and full address. You can start by clicking the "message" icon on the upper right page of the forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle "XfinitySupport" to send us a private message.

No, I want to switch from business internet to residential; I've been trying to get it switched for two years, and nobody has been able to help me. I live alone, there's no reason I should be paying as much as I do.
