Hit and Run

On 4/8/24, an Xfinity van hit my car while driving. When I pulled over, the driver stepped out, but did not exchange info. He stepped back into the van and drove away. I have the van #, but they did not have front license plates. How do I report this and track down the plates?

Thank you.

At the time it happened you needed to call 911 and report it, just like you would any other traffic accident.  And you need to do that now, as well.  The police will be able to track down the van.

Always report traffic accidents whether you're involved or not!

I’m reaching out again after the hit and run incident on 4/8/24. Still waiting for you guys to “look into this” and struggling to understand why it is so difficult for Comcast to proceed when I have provided you the exact time, location, and van #.

Yes, calling the police is useless in this area unless someone’s injured or there’s a gun involved. Exchange info and go on about your day, it’s not a priority 1 emergency.
Yes again, dm 2weeks ago. You can’t tell me it’s really that difficult to locate a worker with the van number…
