Help with an overhead line causing damage to several vehicles last week.

I AM an Xfinity customer, but this is about my work as a Liability Claims Adjuster.  I've tried every way to find a way to set up a claim for this loss.  Our insured semi was pulling house on a Minnesota State Highway, with a permit to use the route involving this loss location in Excelsior, Minnesota.  A line that was identified by the City as belonging to Comcast/Xfinity, was hanging below the 22 feet minimum clearance for an overhead line across ANY public road (it technically would have been 24' in this area per Minnesota Dept of Transportation code.)  The top of the modular home being pulled by our insured semi tractor caught the low-hanging line and it snapped.  It damaged the top of the house as well as 3 other vehicles traveling behind our insured.  I tried the phone numbers provided by the Comcast rep who replaced the line, moving it higher this time, and NONE OF THEM got me to a person handling claims involving this type of loss.  Just losses involving your own work trucks and employees.  The cause of this incident was your company's overhead line.   I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter by contacting me ASAP.

Hello @user_eed2de, and thanks for reaching out to us here for help with your damage claim you would like to put in. I would be happy to put in a ticket for you for the claim. I'm going to need some details of the situation to add to the ticket details from you please.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, and the closest address of where this took place please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

The concern is not "E-mail" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
