HELP!!!!!!!!!!! TV error code XRE03046

I have this error code on several TV's.  here's what happened.

we originally had 6 tv's (2 wired boxes and 4 wireless boxes).  things worked great.  we had a thunderstorm a few months ago that knocked out one of the tv's with a wired box.  i did trouble shooting with tech support and it was determined i needed a service call.

Tech #1 came several days later.  He was here for 2.5 hours, never introduced himself, would not listen to what i said happened.  He did something in the attic which did not help.  Eventually he replaced the wired box on the tv that had the issue.  that took care of that tv but the other tv with a wired box to stop working.  he replaced it with a wireless box which worked and he left.  a few days later, the tv's with wireless boxes gave me the error code XRE0304.  I called and did trouble shooting yet again  and a service appt was scheduled.

Tech #2 came within a week.  He was great and knew exactly what the issue was.  when Tech #1 took out the 2nd wired box, the remaining wired box could not handle 5 wireless boxes.  He replaced the new wireless box with a wired box and all was great until the next thunderstorm. Tech #2 also went in the attic to see what Tech #1 had done.  all he found was an empty xfinity box and other trash that Tech #1 had left behind.  he not only was rude and did not know what he was doing, Tech #1 had no respect for myself or my home.

The same tv that was an issue the first time, had the same issue again with erro XRE03046.  you could watch netflix etc, but not xfinity regular channels.  the first appt was over 2.5 weeks out.  that is just not acceptable to say the least!!!!!!!!!!

Tech Support suggests i go to xfinity and get a new wired box.  i did that but the issue was not resolved.

Tech #3 finally arrives after several weeks.  He tried a new wired box but that did not help either, and he determined that the hdmi ports on the tv (a year old samsung tv) were damaged in the storm (not Xfinity's issue of course).   in the process of making this determination, he does something that causes the tv with the other wired box to stop working (it had been fine before Tech #3 arrived).  he replaced it with a wireless box even though i explained what had happened before and that one wired box cannot handle this many tvs.  he told me i was wrong, didn't try to replace it with a wired box, left the wireless box connected and left.  that did repair that tv, but the next day several of the other tv's showed the XRE03046 error.  Of course they did as we are back to just one wired box.

This week We purchased a new tv, used the wired box we had and now that TV is fine, however we still have the XRE03046 on other tv's.  I called Xfinity to explain and after about 25 mins i convinced them to get me an appointment in less than 10 day out.

i was given an appt for yesterday from 10-12.  at noon i had not heard from anyone and checked the xfinity app.  previously the appt showed on the app but now it was gone.  I called and was told that the tech had come to the house but we were not home and the appt was cancelled.  this was a lie.  i took the day off, was home all day and have cameras to prove he never came.   i called xfinity again and had to beg for another appt.  it was scheduled for the same day from 3-5.  at 5 pm i had not heard from anyone again.  i called and was told the tech was running late and the new time would be 6:30.  that was fine.  at 6:30 no one had come so i called again.  i was told he was running late and the new time would be 7:30pm.  i said ok but they would need to add to the tech notes that he would have to call me to let him in the subdivision gate.  there is also a call box that service providers can use to contact home owners who can then open the gate.  this is not an unusual situation for neighborhoods.  customer service added that note and told me that he checked and the new arrival time was 8 pm.  i said fine.

i received a call around 7:35 from xfinity customer service who was calling to see if the tech had arrived.  i said no.  she put me on hold to check into it.  around 7:43 pm while on hold, i received another  call from an unknown number 844-823-8902.  i did not take the call as it looked like spam and i was on hold with xfinity.  customer service came back to me and said that the appt had been cancelled.  again the tech said we were not home.  that was a lie.  we were sitting in the house, no call or text from tech, no doorbell rung and the cameras show he was never there at all.  maybe he thought he could not get into the gate, but he didnt call me as the notes said and he didnt use the call box.   i begged AGAIN for an appt and was told the best they could do was 12 days later on oct 12.  Again i said thats UNACCEPTABLE.  Techs #1 and #3 made things worse.  Not our fault.  Tech #4  lied about arriving at our house and no one was home.  The begging did not help.  I asked if i could go to the Xfinity store and swap the wireless box for a wired box.  She said absolutely.  i asked her to add it to the notes so that i would not have an issue at the store.  she said yes and agreed to call me today between 12-1 pm to help me install the new wired box.

Well that brings us to today.  I went to the store where a very rude associate told me flat out NO.  i explained the situation again, asked her to look at the notes on the account and was again told NO.  She said i would need to bring the other 5 boxes to the store and exchange all of them.  this is ridiculous.

i have two xfinity accounts and pay over $800 a month for the service.  i do not want to make a change even though Live Oak Fiber calls or emails or even knocks on my door weekly.  i want to be a loyal xfinity customer as i have been for decades, however the lack of knowledgeable service i have received for the past 2-3 months is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.

i have asked MANY times to speak with a supervisor directly.  i'm told that's not possible.  that's ridiculous.

as of now i have a service appt 11 days out but i have no faith that the tech will even come to the house based on yesterday's debacle.

can anyone help me??!!!
