Help! Service for new home construction

Hi Xfinity,

I am looking for assistance to transfer my internet service next year (March 2023) to a new home address which is currently under construction. The new location is not served by Xfinity yet so I would like to know the whole process on how to get xfinity service.

Thank you for your help!

@jp.pommet Hello, thanks for reaching out to us, I can check to see what we can do about getting your new household set up for Xfinity service. Would you please send a direct message with your name and complete service address for assistance?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Hi @XfinityJamie

It's been a few months since my original post, can someone follow up with me via private message to move forward on my original ticket HS3278304?

Thank you.

Hi Team Xfinity,

It's now April and we are ready to move forward to get service for my new home. As mentioned before, this may involve some construction work by your team.

Thank you in advance for your help!

@jp.pmmet Thank you for connecting your follow-up to your original post! Since I now have this linked to your original issue I would be more than happy to continue in private once again so thank you. Without you commenting again here your conversation is not linked, and I would not have all the information needed!

Hi Xfinity,

It's been a few weeks since my last update with your team regarding the deployment of new service for my new home.

The cable line has been deployed up to the house (see picture attached) and now we are just wondering what the next step is.

Do we need to get your technicians to install the Xfinity box against the house ?

As a friendly reminder, our plan will be internet only. Thank you!
