Help getting an XB8

I have a 1.2 gbps plan with xFi complete and some Wi-Fi 6E capable devices including a desktop that sees lots of use. I would like an XB8 to make full use of the 6Ghz band speeds and get the most out of my plan.

I had an XB6 but was eligible for an optional upgrade online. I placed an order, but they are sending an XB7.

The most recent forum posts seem to indicate there is some XB8 stock and you all seem to be able to help in ordering one or finding a local store with stock to go exchange. Can someone help me out?

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to Xfinity on Forums. If you ordered an Xb8 and received an Xb7 then that means that the warehouse is out of the Xb8s at the moment. The best option would be to go to your local store if they have some in stock, in which you can then swap out the Xb7 for the Xb8.
