Help delete peacock account

Hi I would like to delete my peacock account through xfinity. I can’t do it through the tv, tried that. So what is the alternative? Thanks

Hi @user_quneyh Thanks for visiting our Forum for help with your account. Do you recall if you signed up for Peacock through your box? 

 

Please see below: 

 

If you sign up for Peacock through your Xfinity X1 or Xfinity Flex TV Box, you’ll be billed by Xfinity, and you can manage your Peacock subscription plan through your TV Box! This includes viewing, upgrading, downgrading or canceling your subscription.

If you signed up for Peacock directly with Peacock, you’ll be billed by Peacock and can use your existing credentials to log in on X1 or Flex. However, you’ll need to visit peacocktv.com to manage your subscription

Hello I did not sign up through peacock or my xfinity box. I signed up through rewards on my

 computer.

@user_quneyh Thank you for that, and to confirm you are not being billed, you would like to delete your information only? 

 

To check if you are being billed through us: 

 

If your Peacock subscription is billed by Xfinity, you can check the details of your subscription.

  1. Go to Settings on your Xfinity X1 TV Box or Xfinity Flex streaming TV Box.
  2. Go to the Apps & Subscription menu
  3. You can also find this menu by saying, “Manage Peacock” into your Xfinity Voice Remote.

If you’re billed by Xfinity for your Peacock subscription, you’ll see:

  • The recurring price.
  • The renewal date.
  • Options to manage or cancel your service.

To cancel, go to the Peacock app with the instructions above. 

Once in the Peacock app > Unsubscribe. 

 

If you do not see that option it could be that you are not being billed since you used the Xfinity Rewards. 

 

We can also double check for you and/or confirm if you do cancel. Just send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started. 

 

To send a direct message: 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
