Have Superfast 800Mbps Internet, can I upgrade my TG1682G gateway?
My internet has been upgraded to 800 Mbps via my community service, but it doesn't look like the previously supplied gateway/modem goes that fast. Can I have it replaced?

Thank you for taking the time to reach out about this through our Xfinity Community Forum. Our XB3 Arris TG1682G gateway is capable of managing speeds of up to 845 Mbps. However, we can definitely upgrade your Internet device!
You can do this by swapping your current device at a local Xfinity store, or we can ship you one from here for the cost of shipping, and it will arrive in 3-5 business days.
For assistance with a shipped gateway, Please send a direct message with your first and last name, as well as complete service address to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
1. Click "Sign In" if necessary
2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)
3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
4. Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
5. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
