Had It With Comcast

These pages don't behave well over a smartphone.  I would not have to use them had not Comcast disconnected me today, a weekend with fewer people available.  Because of health matters I am behind in other payments besides Comcast.  Despite my putting a payment in the mail immediately, they will not reconnect me.

likeitisteller Thanks for creating a post today. Unfortunately, the payment does need to be received and processed before a non-payment disconnect can be removed. If you haven't already, our team can check if your account is eligible for a payment arrangement, but if not, we would need to wait until the payment has been processed for services to be restored.

Some Comcast rep telephoned me yesterday evening.  The rep hung up as soon as I put the receiver to my ear.  We could have settled this yesterday.  The rep left no voicemail; so, I had no one to ask for.  Whoever answered when I returned the call was clueless.  That call was harassing.  Comcast should escalate this instance immediately.  They know they are creating hardship.

likeitisteller - Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. It’s not the level of service we ever want anyone to have. Our team would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you in more detail so we can fully understand what happened, support you in every way we can, and make sure your feedback is directed to the right team for review. I also understand that managing payments can sometimes feel stressful, so I want to make sure you have all the available ways to pay your Xfinity bill,  beyond mailing a check; so you can choose the method that feels easiest and most convenient for you.

Here are your payment options:

Online: Pay through Xfinity.com or the Xfinity App.
Xfinity Voice Remote: Just say “Pay my bill” to open your account and make a payment through Xfinity X1.
By Phone: Call 1‑800‑XFINITY and follow the prompts to pay with an American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa debit/credit card, or via ACH from a valid U.S. checking or savings account.
By Mail: Send a check or cashier’s check using the payment insert included with your bill. For your safety, please do not mail cash.
In Person: Visit an Xfinity Retail Store and use an Xfinity Self‑Service Kiosk, which accepts all the methods above plus cash and traveler’s checks.
Western Union Quick Collect: You can also pay by money order at participating locations.

Included below is a helpful article with more information.

XfinityThomasA, I appreciate your help.  However, l learned yesterday that dealing with Comcast by smartphone is difficult.  I could not enact an immediate payment by phone.  You had so few reps available that I kept getting the same one.  She said something about my using the speaker interfering with the payment process.  So, I hung up after holding for so long and mailed the check.  It seems like I made five calls to Comcast yesterday, a day on which I didn't want to talk to anyone.  My health matters make things too difficult.  Besides my regular payments in arrears, I have health and legal matters for which I needed my connection.  I cannot deal with the credit union without my connection.  There is more to this than just watching TV.  One of the legal matters concerns my former employer, which owns Comcast.  I didn't not think my employer hired the right people for jobs anymore than Comcast does.  I noticed fast talking, scripted answers, just like government employees, as though indoctrinating, thinking they know more about what's best than the public.  Do you think I want to share financial information with Comcast just to make phone and automatic payments?  This forum is difficult to post to on a cell phone as well.  This post disappeared as I wrote it and I navigated off the page.
