guidelines for height of cable off the ground

We have cable lines running from the pole - across our driveway and onto the neighbors house - the wire is less that 10 feet from the ground - which in our opinion is a safety hazard if emergency vehicles need access to our full driveway - what are the guidelines for how high off the ground wires should be.  Thanks

Thank you for this advice XfinityAlyssaA! We have the same issue - cable is 11 ft off the ground and delivery people are afraid they're going to hit it. I followed your instructions and and the associate took care of matters within an hour.  A lineman was sent this morning and as I figured, he couldn't handle the job but he will be in contact with a department or outside contractor that can raise the cable.
