group emails

I belong to a group which has 124 members.  I have divided the email addresses into 2 groups for sending emails to stay under the 100 person limit.  After I send message 1 and message 2 to the first group both with attachments, the same two messages will not send to the second group within the next few minutes.  The attachments are the same and the message is the same.  Sometimes the messages are in the outbox for an hour or so before sending.  Help?

Hello, @4lan How big are the attachments? There's a limit on the size of email messages. If someone tries to send large videos or photos, you may not get them. Our servers support messages up to 25 MB.

One is 5MB and the other is 2MB.  I rarely go above 6MB per email.  And I do not send 2 attachments in the same email.

@4lan were you able to send emails to these groups in that order before? And does it sit in your sent folder without any error messages? Most non-delivery notifications Comcast returns contain links to FAQs that explain why the block occurred and instruct on how to remediate the issue. Take the time to review any errors; they likely hold the key to a quick remediation. Have there been any recent changes to your email settings like being added to a block list?

No.  I don't recall when this problem started.  I used to be able to send messages 1 and 2 with attachments to one member group and then turn around and send the same messages to the second group.  Now I only can send to the first group with the second group of messages not being able to be sent.  I don't receive non-delivery messages only messages that my emails cannot be sent. There have been no changes to our email settings recently.  I sure wish I had thought to capture a screen shot of the message.  Next time I will do that.

So, I click on "send."   The message box shows it is being sent.  Then it abruptly stops with a message that there is a problem and some of the words say to contact my service provider. There are many other words in the message but I don't remember them all.  Like I said I wish I had a screen shot.  So then I leave the message(s) in my outbox.  After an hour or so, I will find that they have finally been sent. Frustrating when I am wanting to leave the house and want to shut down the computer but need to send the emails first.

@4lan Are you able to create a new email and send to group 2 instead of sending the same email from group 1? It may be flagging the second email as spam.

I can certainly try.  Since I only send emails with attachments a few times each month, I will try that the next time. No need to resend the monthly newsletter again this month.  If I see the message, I will remember to capture it so I can get some help.  I appreciate your help and thoughts this time.  I hope there is no next time!

I have the same problem that started occurring about 2 months ago.  I send out the same email message to Three Groups to keep it under the 100 maximum in a group.  Recently, I can send the first two groups but when I send the third group, I get an error, and it will not let me send until I wait about 6 hours.  This is very frustrating, and I hope to solve it before I have to change email providers.  Thanks

I have a group email list of 27 and starting last week it only sent them  to Outbox. The only attachment is a Zoom invitation. Everything was working fine until last week. I had to break down the list into 3 groups of 8 which is ridiculous!

I only have 14 members in a group, sometimes the send email option appears, and it functions correctly: sometimes not!  No attachments, just a few lines of text for meetings.  I have deleted the group and reinstalled it, only to have it happen again.  Doesn't seem to function consistently.
